Power Throttling - The charger has the ability to sense if power input (power from the home) is degraded. If it senses this, the unit will automatically lower its output reducing the chance of tripping a circuit breaker. For example, if the home is overloading the main service (ie: AC, microwave, electric oven, etc) the charger will sense this and reduce output.

Power Outage Recovery - If a power outage occurs, the charger automatically resumes charging when power is restored. If the charging cable is connected to the vehicle when power is restored, the charger will slowly ramp charging back up as not to overload the services panel and the grid.
